Executive Insights

Speakers: Clay Gaspar, Doug Lawler and Cameron Brown

Oklahoma has a storied history in oil and gas, marked by cycles of innovation and resilience. Today, the state is entering a new era, with increased M&A activity, renewed exploration, and advanced technologies driving growth. Companies are navigating evolving market dynamics and new opportunities in both established and emerging plays.

This panel — featuring Clay Gaspar, CEO of Devon Energy, Doug Lawler, CEO of Continental Resources and Cameron Brown, CEO of Validus Energy, brings together leaders with diverse perspectives and strategies. They will share insights on what’s fueling Oklahoma’s current momentum, how they’re positioning their companies and what the future holds for the state’s oil and gas professionals.

Powering Progress: Data Center Synopsis

Speakers: Dax Strickland, Regan Hawkins, Dan Lopata and Carl Campbell

Powering Progress will highlight the global need for power generation, emphasizing the increasing demand for energy driven by technological advancements and the growth of industries, particularly data centers, essential for AI development.

Following this, attention will shift to the role of Expand Energy, a major gas producer, in meeting this demand. The panel will explore how Expand Energy’s operations, in combination with practical land management strategies, can support the power generation required for data centers, ensuring a sustainable and efficient energy supply.

Finally, the discussion will cover Expand Energy’s internal development, showcasing how the company leverages AI and technology within its operations. This dual perspective illustrates the company not only as a supplier of power to meet the demands of data centers and AI but also as a user of innovative technology to enhance operational efficiency.

Overall, the discussion will underline the interconnectedness of energy production, land management, and technology use, highlighting the implications of these dynamics for the future of power generation and AI integration.
